I used blue tape cut into strips with a scalpel to two images on sheets of acetate, for my first image I recreated one of my previous leaf drawings by taping the acetate over the top of my sketch and using it as a guide. Because go the straight lines of the tape and when looking at the final product the lines seemed geometric and jagged creating an image that felt strong and bold.
For my second drawing, I taped the acetate to the window and created an image of the urban landscape that could be seen, I found this section of the task particularly more difficult than the last as every time I looked away or moved my head the perspective of the landscape changed and I had to try to figure out where everything lined up correctly. However, when looking at my final product I found that the wonky lines invoked a child like feeling and it looked almost like a cartoon drawing, found that my image was fun and had character, I managed to capture the perspective of the scenery and the image draws you in. I found this task interesting because in regards to my leaf drawing it showcased my ability to convey different feelings and language with the use of different media even when its the same image that's being drawn.
